Since 1957 Haverhill International has been providing independent business consulting. For the past 50 years Bob Ladd has assisted many clients in finding just the marketplaces they have needed. His specialized services were the answer to helping a company take an idea, produce a product and find a buyer. His gift and abilities were a unique service that even with today's information technology are the answer to success many of Haverhill's clients have enjoyed.

On October 1, 2009 ROBERT DANIEL LADD, of Poolesville, MD died. Beloved husband of 66 years to Carol B. Ladd; father of Robin Ladd McEntire, R. Daniel Ladd Jr., Merle Ladd Silverman, Charles B. Ladd and Phebe Ladd Mertes; grandfather to 14 and great-grandfather to five. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A graduate of the College of Agriculture at Cornell University and Harvard Business School, he was a WWII veteran wounded with the Army in France. He worked for National Dairy, served as the executive director of the U.S. Jaycees, was the office manager to Vice President Nixon and then on the Hoover Commission. He operated Research Management Company and several technology companies before he opened Haverhill International which he ran until 2008 when he retired. He was a long time member of the Cornell Club of Washington (twice president). Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca Valley Pony Club, c/o J. Barnhard, 4840 Cordell Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814 to continue the Robert Ladd Award to the top senior and junior Boy Rider.
